Product Details
The Dynoteg CSV File Converter software is intended to be used for importing data from a datalog system, filtering this data and adding a start section to this data. After that the data can be exported for use in the Sportdyno software to replay a lap, multiple laps or even a complete race on the Dynoteg KED-5 and KED-EC kart engine dyno's.
In this way it is possible to simulate the real track situation on the dyno as good as possible. Measuring several parameters like water temperature, exhaust gas temperature, lambda, detonation etc. will be a big help to fully understand the behaviour of the engine.
The minimum data that is needed by the dyno is Time, engine RPM and TPS (Throttle position). Optionally also GPS coordinates can be imported.
This 1 year license includes:
-free Dynoteg CSV file converter software updates
-free support for track lap replay simulation tests on Dynoteg KED-5 and KED-EC Pro kart engine dyno's
-predefined file import from AIM, Alfano, Unipro and Sportdyno CSV files
Why do I need this software?
1. Track data can contain spikes or drops in the data. For example with kart track data it is very common to see brake lock ups during braking for a corner. Due to these brake lock ups the engine RPM data also shows a big drop. If this data would be imported directly in the dyno software it would have a bad influence on the brake control and the lap replay. Therefore the software has filter functions for both engine RPM and TPS.
2. TPS data can be out of calibration in the track data. It is possible that the TPS sensor was not correctly calibrated on the vehicle. Especially when TPS values are higher then 100% and/or lower than 0% it is necessarry to correct these values. Therefore the software has a function to remove the values outside 0-100% TPS position.
3. The start/finish line of a track is almost always situated on a straight where the vehicle will pass at high RPM and full throttle. This means that the dyno would also have to start the lap replay at high RPM and full throttle. This is not desirable as it would mean that the engine has to accelerate in a very short time from idle to the starting point of the lap. Therefore the software has a function to add a start section to the imported data which ensures a smooth begin of your lap replay.
